With a passion for dance that began at a age three, Lana took her first Pilates class after graduating from college. After a few years of practicing as a student, she felt inspired to share her passion with others and earned her Mat 1 certification – teaching occasional classes. After discovering barre in 2012, she quickly got certified and committed more time to teaching – helping establish the first barre program in Woodstock. She later earned her Mat 2 and Reformer certifications, and taught part time while raising her two young sons. In 2017, she started Breathe Pilates and Barre, and added Pop Pilates and Buti Yoga certifications to her resume. Lana is passionate about sharing her love of mindful movement and believes everybody, no matter background or age, can benefit from Pilates and yoga. When she isn’t teaching or busy cheering on her boys at baseball, she enjoys Stand Up Paddle boarding and spending time with her family.
Hi! My name is Caitlyn MacDonald. I just recently moved here from California. I have been dancing for 20 years competitively in all genres of dance; ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop and pointe and Pom. I danced in a studio until I was about 16 then I began dancing for my high school in Pom and jazz. After high school, I continued dancing for my University at Sacramento State University in jazz, hip hop and Pom. In addition to dancing for my university, I was the head coach for a local high school dance team. I built the program up and ran it for four years, until my move to Georgia. I also taught in various studios, in all types of dance. Currently, I dance professionally for the Atlanta Blaze which is Atlanta’s newest professional lacrosse team. I am so excited to start teaching here at Studio 55! I look forward to meeting each and everyone of you and be a part of the Studio 55 family!
